Cache Rapids Stable offers riding lessons from beginner, intermediate to more advanced riders. From Children to Adults.

Our well-schooled horses will ensure a safe and enjoyable lesson with experienced instructors.

All lessons are based on the Equine Canada Learn to Ride Program, a national program developed for those who wish to learn safe horsemanship skills and practices based on a national standard.

The instructors will discuss your personal goals with you, be it to improve your riding skills, work on your Rider Levels or prepare for the next show. Riding helmets are provided. Lessons are available by the hour or packages.

Lessons are subject to the availability of the instructors and are by appointment. 

English Riding Lessons are available with English Instructors, Jenn Eustace and include both flat and jumping, depending on riding level.

Western Riding Lessons are available with Western Instructors, Joan King-Pike and Sam Stuckless.

Joan King Pike will be teaching students ages 10 and over on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm. and 7:30 pm. as well as Saturday mornings at 10 am. and 11:30 am. 

Sam Stuckless will be teaching students ages 10 and under on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 4:30 pm., 6:00 pm and. 7:30 pm. as well as Sunday mornings at 9:00 am., 10:30 am. and 11:30 am. 

Registration is always open.  There is not set “start” or “finish” time for lesson registration. We are flexible and work with your schedule.  An appointment is required. Appointments can be made via phone 709-635-5535, email or message us on Facebook.  The only equipment required is gloves, long pants and a boot with a heel.

$35.00 per hour for semi-private.

Packages Semi-Private
$165.00 per 5 hour package for semi-private.
$350.00 per 11 hour package for semi-private.
